The ad promotes the beginning of the 15-part Superman radio serial storyline that featured the return of the villainous Yellow Mask. The storyline ran October 7 to November 8, 1940. It also lists eight stations in the United States and one in the Philippine Islands (misspelled as "Phillipine") airing the Superman radio show, along with their sponsors.
