Spring! Birds are singing, flowers are blooming...
Rebel troops are advancing by order on the city of Chancellorsville, but, one of their number, a real duffuss named Goober-Head, insists on robbing the dead Union soldiers of their clothing. In the end, this excited soldier starts firing at his own men, by mistake, and ends up killing General Stonewall Jackson.

The last panel contains an obvious error not caught by the editor: it said that General Jackson was shot and killed in May of 1893, when, in fact, he was killed May 10, 1863.
