First Line: Many a man dreams of possessing fabulous wealth...
Synopsis: Science student Nathan Hood, working on an experiment, discovers a formula that creates diamonds. In his excitement he drops the diamond as he leaves the lab, and it's found by the old janitor, Timothy Clarke. Clarke decides to keep it for himself but is found two days later with a bullet in his head. Once again the diamond is found, near Clarke's dead body, only this time by Brenda, and she takes the jewel to the wealthy diamond expert Karl Sivens for verification. Sivens offers her two hundred thousand dollars for it on the spot, but Brenda tells him it's not hers to sell.

First Line: Gentlemen, an atomic submarine could be a dangerous weapon!
Synopsis: Admiral Rowland is assigned to build an atomic submarine. Two years later the sub is ready to launch, and an enemy superpower assigns Captain Remeck to steal the plans for the submarine and sabotage its launch. Brenda is out with her friend and co-worker Buddy as he's taking photos when the two of them witness an enemy submarine rising from the water in front of them. The men on the sub spot Brenda and Buddy and open fire on them. The two escape with their lives. Coincidentally, their chief editor sends them on assignment to do a story on the sub launch not long after.
