Airplanes are crashing on a regular basis across America to the point where all aircraft are outlawed. When a scientist deduces that it's because aliens don't want Earthlings getting too advanced so they can develop space travel, aliens arrive and vaporize him so he won't tell anyone.

Lon; Enid (Lon's wife); un-named alien being (Enid and Lon's son, death)
Enid and I stepped down from the aero-cab amid a shower of rice...
Some newlyweds blast off in a spaceship on their honeymoon, but Enid's heart is adversely affected during the journey and they land on a planet, realizing that she couldn't survive yet another take-off. Lon goes back to Earth for a pre-fab home and other supplies, and when he lands, he encounters a strange alien being and kills it.....then finds out the horrible truth about the creature!

Seymour Watkins; Helen Watkins (Seymour's wife); Zenob Watkins (the Watkin's great-great grandson from the future)
Seymour Watkins bent and caught his young bride of a few hours in his strong arms!
Seymour refuses to marry Helen until he is rich, and one day he discovers a way to accomplish that goal, when he is visited by his relative from the year 2046. Together they conspire for Zenob to go back in time and murder a certain relative so that Seymour can become very wealthy.....but it backfires.

Suddenly, a hush fell over the crowded television studio!
Sick of the lousy candidates for the upcoming election, people across America vote for the alligator handpuppet "Allie" from the popular "The Cuckoo, Fan, and Allie Show" to be president. It turns out that "Allie" is a small parasitic alligator creature fused onto the hand of his puppeteer who leads an invasion of similar creatures to take over humanity.
