Disclose Notes: Due to printer’s error, Batman: The Dark Knight #2 [Second Printing] was printed without notice that it is a second printing. Ronald’s Printing ran an advertisement in Comics Buyer’s Guide #650 (May 2, 1986) expressing regret for the error, and providing an alternate means of distinguishing between the two printings. Text in the ad says:

“You can tell the first printing from the second by the inside covers:

“The first printing of #2 has a gray ‘ghost’ image and a ragged edge around the bat-shape.

“The second printing does not.”

The text in the ad is accompanied by clear images.
