Established in the summer of 1986 and overseen by Editor-in-Chief David Campiti, with editorial offices in Wheeling, WV, and business offices in Long Beach, CA (office of publication address listed in indicia is the same as that of Amazing Comics: 1841-B East 65th Street, Long Beach, CA 90805). Publisher: Paula Brown, Consulting Editor: Roger McKenzie.
Wonder Color — along with Amazing, Eternity, Imperial Comics, and Malibu — was privately financed by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg of Sunrise Distributors. Amazing and Wonder Color were linked publishers, with Wonder Color publishing color comics and Amazing publishing black-and-white comics. Furthermore, the two companies had a relationship with another Campiti publisher, Pied Piper Comics — Campiti packaged comics for all three companies.
After Wonder Color was shut down, titles HERO ALLIANCE and POWER FACTOR moved to Pied Piper comics.
