Meanwhile, Jade and Donna try to defend the Emerald City as Jesse moves an infirm Alan Scott to safer ground. Finally, Jade is possessed by Eclipso as Doomsday follows the Leaguers to the Watchtower, where the Cyborg Superman suddenly appears from within Boodikka.

Synopsis: While Batman, Starman and Saint Walker recover at the Watchtower, Congorilla intercepts Donna's distress signal from the Emerald City and brings in the reserves. Unfortunately the reserves are possessed by Eclipso or defeated, leaving only Congorilla and Donna. Then, Batman, Starman and Saint Walker arrive. As the five heroes ready themselves for a final battle, Obsidian appears and surrounds the heroes in darkness.

Synopsis: Eclipso's plan comes to it's apex: he tortures Zauriel, which cause the Spectre to appear. The two entities then battle but the Spectre gets weaker by the moment. The Justice League -- with Obsidian's help -- escapes Eclipso's clutches and discovers the ex-angel's true goal: he wants to use the Spectre to kill God. As the JLA and their allies Blue Lantern, Green Lantern and Obisidan rally for a final battle, Eclipso cleaves the Spectre and the moon in twain, beginning the End of Days.

Synopsis: Batman devises a plan that involves Saint Walker creating a blue high velocity rifle that Congorilla will shoot an energy bullet towards the Shade. Inside the bullet, a miniature Atom and Starman enter the Shade's brain in an attempt to free him from Eclipso's hold. Doing this will then free the other enthralled heroes. The team then feigns to free Zauriel as Donna brings the fight to Eclipso. But, before she can defeat him, he runs his sword through her.

Synopsis: Under Saint Walker's influence, Eclipso imagines a universe under his control. That allows Donna Troy to press her advantage. Meanwhile, Starman and the Atom finally free the Shade from Eclipso's influence, which then frees the other possessed heroes and villains. An attack of light from the heroes forces Eclipso back into Bruce Gordon.
