The stories in this issue were previously credited to Vic Lockman, but display none of Lockman's "trademark alliteration", nor few (if any) of his regular tropes. Given the greater humor-quotient than in typical Lockman stories, and that The Beagle Boys are characterized as they were in their two appearances in The Phantom Blot (Western, 1964 Series) #3 and #6 that were written by Bob Ogle, Ogle gets the call as the issue's writer.
No ads in this issue. All 36 pages are comics or comics-related text material.
