Almost all National Book Store versions of DC and Marvel comics from the 1970s were printed without cover prices; many were printed without cover dates, some of these do not have dates in the indicia, either. Majority of NBS reprints use the exact same indicia as the U.S.A. editions but were not printed in the same month/year, and currently there is no exact way to determine the publishing date. According to some native collectors, the comics may have been reprinted on multiple occasions, and sometimes the book's dimensions changed (possibly to save on costs); many times the colors do not align properly inside the comic in the later printings. There are also National Book Store editions of Dell/Gold Key books and Classics Illustrateds (although the issue numbers did change for the CIs), along with several original series (in both English and Tagalog).
